Bellator 268: Twitter reacts to Vadim Nemkov and Corey Anderson’s stoppage wins

Firstly, Corey Anderson made quick work of Ryan Bader, knocking out the former champion in only 51 seconds at Bellator 268’s co-main event. Afterwards, Vadim Nemkov retained his belt by surviving a scary shot from Julius Anglickas in the first round, but then dominating his opponent on the ground until a kimura finish in the fourth.

On Twitter, MMA media and fighters reacted to the contests.

Nemkov vs. Anglickas

Anglickas rocked Nemkov early. But Nemkov weathers the storm with a takedown. That looked dicey dicey!

10-8 Nemkov in the second. Obliterated Anglickas with ground-and-pound late in the round. 20-17 overall.

Nemkov wins via fourth-round sub. He might be the best fighter no one really knows yet. But that’s changing.

Roll on Anderson x Nemkov (in 2022).

That was almost a mercy finish in the end. Great performance from Nemkov after a tough start. #Bellator268

Anderson vs. Bader

Corey Anderson is just fighting with a confidence and freedom that he wasn’t able to channel with the frequency that he does now.

I’m eager to see how he performs in the final.

Oh myyyy.

Corey Anderson wins via first-round TKO. What a freaking run so far for Anderson in Bellator. He advances to the finals of the LHW tourney.

Holy shit. Corey Anderson just DUSTED Ryan Bader in the first round.
