Gamdom Offers Every UFC Fighter a $10,000 Monthly Sponsorship

· Business and Rankings

Online crypto casino Gamdom has published an open letter to the entire UFC roster, offering each contracted fighter a sponsorship deal worth $10,000 per month.

The offer came as middleweight champion Sean Strickland publicly complained about his pay and said he would not fight until he gets a better financial deal from the UFC.

What the letter offers

Gamdom, which is owned by German entrepreneur Felix Romer, posted the letter on X on Tuesday. It describes the offer as open to every athlete under UFC contract, from fighters about to make their debut to established champions. The monthly figure matches the minimum amount a fighter can earn for a UFC bout.

According to the letter, the company believes fighters deserve more financial support for the dedication and sacrifice the sport demands, and it wants the money to help with training costs, families and long-term security. Gamdom said it is open to talks with fighters and their representatives across the roster.

The offer comes with conditions. The letter calls it an independent Gamdom initiative and states that sponsorships depend on agreed terms, applicable requirements and the fighters' existing contractual obligations.

"Not an attack on the UFC"

Romer said the campaign is not directed against the promotion. He said he understands the economics of the UFC and respects the investment, risk and work that went into building it.

This initiative is in no way an attack on the UFC or a negative reflection on its business.

He added that he has great respect for the platform the UFC has created and sees the offer as a chance for Gamdom to contribute by backing athletes it believes in with real financial support.
