McMillen Visits Lunchbox Grow Facility, Teases Merch and Strain
Tommy McMillen, the undefeated UFC featherweight, has been spotted at the Lunchbox Cannabis Dispensary in Arizona, and the visit hints at a potential deal. The reason for the trip has not been disclosed, but it has sparked speculation about a deal.
McMillen is 12-0 and has been in the spotlight lately after a Fight of the Night bout with Marwan Rahiki. His latest move has nothing to do with fighting. He posted an Instagram video montage from the Lunchbox facility, which showed parts of the company's 75,000-square-foot vertical grow operation and a wide range of its products, including edibles, flowers and infused items.
The caption on the clip said "Big moves happening behind the scenes. Stay locked in."
On his Instagram story, McMillen hinted at an announcement of his own, and specifically at a merchandise deal. "Rockin my @gamdom work shirt. New Merch, collectibles, and weed strain dropping soon with @lunchboxaz," he wrote. The details of the collaboration with the Arizona retailer are still under wraps.
A growing list of brand deals
The visit adds to McMillen's business life outside the Octagon. Soon after his statement win over Rahiki, he landed a deal reported at $100,000 a month with SteveWillDolt, whom the source calls Dana White's gambling buddy. He also received a 5% stake in SteveWillDolt's MOTION, an influencer-backed, nicotine-free caffeine pouch brand.
McMillen is sponsored directly by Monster Energy, where Alexa Grasso and Brandon Moreno are on the athlete roster as well. He is also an ambassador for ACR Poker, and a specially licensed fan apparel collection carries his name on 500 LEVEL.
His last fight came a month ago, and he has kept busy outside the cage since. McMillen is a protege of Sean O'Malley and has risen quickly through the featherweight roster, both on his record and in popularity.
