Sparks Faces Carmack at BKB Dover After 53 Seconds of Fighting
Jesse "The Reaper" Sparks has needed only 53 seconds to win his first two bare-knuckle fights. Richard "Silverback" Carmack is the next man to test that pace. The two meet in a super heavyweight bout at Bally's Fightnight by BKB on Friday, November 20, at Bally's Dover Casino Resort in Delaware.
Sparks is 2-0 with two knockouts. Carmack is 2-1 in bare-knuckle boxing and has two stoppage wins of his own. Neither man's bare-knuckle victories have gone to the judges.
Carmack has experience in both gloved and bare-knuckle boxing, and he has already won and lost under BKB rules. His wins came against Troy Depriest, by first-round knockout, and Travis Fulton, by third-round technical knockout. He then lost by first-round knockout to Juan Arciniega-Adams.
"I'm not coming to Dover to go the distance or leave anything to the judges," Sparks said in BKB's announcement. "I'm always looking for the finish. Carmack is next, and I'm preparing to bring the same power that got me here."
Carmack answered in the same announcement. "I'm not stepping into the Trigon just to be another name on Sparks' record," he said. "I'm coming to win, and if the opportunity is there, I'm going to finish the fight."
The Trigon is BKB's three-sided fighting enclosure. It replaces the traditional ring, and its 60-degree corners leave fighters different angles to work with.

Former world-title challenger Hank Lundy headlines with his bare-knuckle debut against Jairo "Almighty" Santos. Kylle McMillan faces James "Get Down" Brown in the welterweight co-main event. McMillan is 3-1 with two knockouts. Brown is 5-1 with three.
Albert El Zaibak meets Triston Harrison at super featherweight, and Branden Smith faces Braxton Smith at heavyweight. BKB has dropped the previously scheduled bout between Jade "Evil Smile" Masson-Wong and Monica "Fearless" Franco from the card.
