UFC 333 Betting Lines: Volkanovski and Evloev Dead Even
The betting market expects two competitive title fights at the top of UFC 333, which takes place on October 24 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. In the main event, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski defends his belt against undefeated challenger Movsar Evloev. In the co-main event, bantamweight champion Petr Yan meets Merab Dvalishvili for the third time.
Title fights
As of October 14, one sportsbook had Volkanovski and Evloev at exactly -110 each, meaning bettors would need to risk the same amount on either man. That is a notable price for a long-reigning champion, and it shows how highly the market rates the unbeaten Evloev.
The trilogy bout is a different picture. Yan was listed as a -180 favorite, with Dvalishvili returning +155. The two men have split their first two meetings, and the market currently gives the champion a clear edge in the decider.
The rest of the card
The early lines covered nine matchups in total. Several other bouts were also priced close to even:
- Lone'er Kavanagh (-105) vs. Ramazonbek Temirov (-115)
- Alexander Volkov (-130) vs. Rizvan Kuniev (+110)
- Aaron Pico (+105) vs. Losene Keita (-125)
- Cameron Rowston (-110) vs. Abus Magomedov (-110)
- Nurullo Aliev (-106) vs. Grant Dawson (-114)
Two fights had clearer favorites. Azamat Murzakanov was a -205 pick over former title challenger Dominick Reyes (+175) in a light heavyweight matchup. The biggest favorite of all was Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev at -450, with his opponent Nikita Krylov listed at +355.
With both title fights and much of the undercard priced so tightly, the oddsmakers clearly see few easy calls on the UFC 333 card.
