Ghazali and Estupinan Book Muay Thai Rematch for Dec. 11
Johan Ghazali and Johan Estupinan will fight a second time. The flyweight Muay Thai rematch takes place at The Inner Circle 42 on Friday, December 11, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. It airs live in Asia primetime and streams for members at live.onefc.com.
The first fight took place at ONE 170 in January 2025. Ghazali dropped Estupinan in round one. Estupinan floored him in round two, took over in the final frame and won a unanimous decision.
Ghazali's road back
Ghazali is 19. He opened his promotional run at 6-1, which earned him a US$100,000 contract. His career record stands at 28-11, with six promotional stoppages. The promotion points to his concussive power and sharp microphone skills.
After the loss to Estupinan he went 3-3 against the division's top emerging talent. He trains under ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon. At The Inner Circle 35 in October he settled a score with Diego Paez in what the promotion calls arguably the most complete performance of his career.
Estupinan's detour
Estupinan is 24 and carries a 28-2 record. His style mixes unorthodox angles, flying attacks and a salsa-infused rhythm. He began his promotional tenure with five straight wins and back-to-back US$50,000 performance bonuses. The win over Ghazali followed.
Then came a decision loss to Japan's Taiki Naito and a second-round TKO loss to Black Panther. He answered at his kickboxing debut at ONE Fight Night 44 in June. He beat Akif Guluzada by unanimous decision and ended Guluzada's perfect promotional record.
A rematch with Naito was planned for ONE Fight Night 49, but an injury ruled Estupinan out. December 11 marks his return to Muay Thai. He represents JCFernandez and Team CSK.
The winner will stake a claim for a place in the top five of ONE's flyweight Muay Thai division.
