Proctor Predicts Early Knockout of Karpinski at Lumpinee
Titus Proctor, a 22-year-old from New Zealand, has a US$100,000 ONE contract in view. He is aiming for a finish that could bring that deal closer.
Proctor faces Maciej Karpinski of Poland in a lightweight Muay Thai fight on Friday, November 6, at Lumpinee Stadium. He enters at 22-0.
An unbeaten record built on knockouts
Proctor grew up in foster care before martial arts gave him direction. He is a WBC Muay Thai World Champion and trains at Tihipuke Muay Thai. In 2023 he won New Zealand's King in the Ring tournament.
He values the unbeaten mark as a calling card. "It's something I do need to protect because it gives you that status," he said. Good opportunities come to fighters who are undefeated and stop opponents, in his words.
This is his third appearance for ONE. He knocked out Liu Quan in round three at ONE Friday Fights 130 in October 2025. In June, at The Inner Circle 18, he dropped Tun Min Aung with a head kick and won a unanimous decision.
The man across the ring
Karpinski is described as a champion in Europe. He debuted for ONE at ONE Friday Fights 113, where he scored four knockdowns and a second-round TKO over Donny Smith.
Proctor does not plan to underestimate him. He calls Karpinski a good opponent and a name that helps him climb the division. Still, his prediction is a knockout in the first or second round.
He has been working on his boxing for this fight. He wants to mix punches with kicks and attack from different ranges. Body rips, uppercuts and left hooks are on his list, along with high kicks.
The target after Friday
A win would help his case for the main-roster deal, and he is already looking at the top of the lightweight division. He has named Regian Eersel, the reigning ONE lightweight Muay Thai and kickboxing champion, as one name on his radar.
Proctor admits that fighting the Surinamese-Dutch champion would be hard. He calls Eersel the best in the division. His pitch is youth and hunger.
He says his two ONE fights so far have shown only part of what he can do. "This is just the start," he said.
