ROAD TO BRAVE Hungary Sets Three CombatX Title Fights
BRAVE Combat Federation is taking its developmental series to Hungary. ROAD TO BRAVE Hungary happens on Friday, Nov. 13, at MET Aréna in Székesfehérvár, in a partnership with the regional promotion CombatX.
A local promotion and a bigger partner
CombatX president Őze Balázs called the event the start of what the promotion hopes will be a lasting relationship with BRAVE CF. The two sides are also working toward a full BRAVE CF event in Hungary in 2027.
The card is built to put Hungarian fighters opposite opponents from neighboring countries and further afield. BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid said ROAD TO BRAVE is meant to give deserving athletes a chance to show what they can do. He said they are "committed to creating competitive matchups".
For BRAVE, it is also a way to find prospects through regional organizers. A strong showing in Székesfehérvár could bring a fighter a place in the promotion's wider international network.
Three inaugural belts
The first three CombatX championship fights lead the show. Balázs Kiss meets Marcéu Peixoto for the middleweight title in the main event. At light heavyweight, Lajos Papp faces Caio Cesar Araújo Barbosa. Tarhan Ibragimov meets Rodrigo Carlos for the heavyweight championship.
The rest of the 12 bouts
Hungary's Timea Belik fights Italy's Alice Pisciotta at women's bantamweight. Adam Horváth takes on Latvia's Artürs Ozolins at middleweight. Zita Méhész and Maria Rodriguez meet in a women's 50-kilogram catchweight bout.
The other MMA fights are Krecsmar Zsombor against Denis Gonzala at welterweight, Gabor Vas against Ion Verdes at lightweight, and Gréta Szalai against Eszter Bakk at women's flyweight.
Three striking fights round out the card. Dominik Bakos meets Leonel Aleksander under K-1 rules at 93 kilograms. Tibor Varga boxes László Kiss at 115 kilograms. Csanád Gulyás faces Patrik Haspel at a 75-kilogram catchweight.
BRAVE TV will stream all 12 bouts live.
