Caroline Dubois Books Stephanie Han for a Feb. 20 Unification
Caroline Dubois has a date with another champion. On 20 February she will put her WBC and WBO lightweight belts against Stephanie Han's WBA title in a unification fight in El Paso, Texas.
One belt short of undisputed
A unification bout joins titles held by different champions, and Dubois-Han would leave one winner holding three. A fourth belt remains: the IBF title, held by the unbeaten Elif Nur Turhan of Turkey.
Turhan defends it on Sunday against the American Alycia Baumgardner in Texas. Baumgardner is stepping up from super-featherweight and is seven years older than Dubois. She is regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers.
Dubois and Baumgardner have made no secret of wanting to fight each other. If both win their next fights, a fight for all four belts could follow in 2027. Both are signed to Most Valuable Promotions, which makes the meeting highly likely.
The two have history of a sort. In her post-fight interview after her August win over Amelia Moore, Dubois confronted Baumgardner. She has confirmed on social media that she will be ringside on Sunday.
Undisputed status would put Dubois in rare company. If she gets there, she would be only the fifth Briton to hold all four belts since the four-belt era began, after Josh Taylor, Chantelle Cameron, Savannah Marshall and Ellie Scotney.
Han's home turf
The fight is set for the Gecu Arena at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, which is Han's hometown. Dubois, a 25-year-old Londoner, is the reigning WBC and WBO champion.
"I can't wait to go into Stephanie Han's hometown and add another world title to my collection," she said. She added that she respects what Han has accomplished but is "coming to El Paso to take her title".
Two unbeaten records
Dubois has never lost as a pro, with 14 wins and a draw on her record. In April 2026 she unified her titles with a decision win over Terri Harper.
Han is 36 and unbeaten as well, with 13 wins. Her WBA belt has been defended three times, twice against former UFC champion Holly Holm in 2026.
