Isannuea Calls Jack's Durability His Best Asset in Lumpinee Bout
A 31-year-old veteran with 72 wins on the traditional circuit is the next test for a 22-year-old who has stopped every opponent he has beaten in ONE. The Muay Thai main event at ONE Friday Fights 177 sets a puncher against a man his opponent calls very hard to put away.
Jack's record and his plan
Jack Siatanyokkrok PK went 2-1 on the weekly ONE series in 2023. Both wins came by first-round knockout. Since then his career record on the traditional circuit has grown to 72 wins, and in July he joined PK Saenchai Muaythaigym.
Jack expects a firefight early, but he feels he can control a longer fight and says he will change which weapons he uses as the rounds pass.
"We're fully prepared across the board," Jack said. "It's going to be 100 percent full-throttle."
Where Isannuea stands
Isannuea Sor Sasiwat lost to Ubaid Hussain in August. He has stopped every opponent he has beaten in ONE.
This fight is at bantamweight, a division he has never fought in before. He puts the move down to his growing frame and expects to be back at flyweight after it.
What years of scouting turned up
Isannuea has studied Jack in several formats: five-round stadium fights and earlier bouts in 4-ounce gloves. One trait kept coming back.
"His best asset is his durability. He's got an iron chin and insane toughness," Isannuea said.
He also describes Jack as a strong fighter with an aggressive, come-forward style.
Jack's own words point the same way. He says he has heavy hands, and he lists punches, kicks, knees and elbows.
Where and when
The bout is on Friday, November 6, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. It is broadcast live in Asia primetime.
