Till Hits Back at Garry for Calling Him All Talk

· Fighter Controversies & Social Media ·

Neither Darren Till nor Ian Machado Garry has a fight booked, so words are all they are trading for now. The latest exchange began with a few lines from Garry on a golf channel, and Till did not let them pass.

Two fighters with nothing scheduled

Garry's most recent fight was the welterweight title bout against Islam Makhachev at UFC 330 in August. He lost by unanimous decision, and his next date is not set.

Till is in the same position. He beat Yoel Romero by unanimous decision at BKFC 94 a couple of months ago. Neither man is injured, but when either will be back is not known.

An older round of the same feud

The two have traded shots before. Earlier this year, Till was reacting to a remark from Garry about the world being better if women ran it. He said he is not a hateful guy and does not hate Garry.

His complaint was that Garry tarnishes his own brand and image whenever he speaks. Till said he is for the power of women, with four girls and a missus at home. He also said Garry always seems to be trying to buy love, and that people can see and know a fake guy.

Till's answer on X

This time Till replied on X and turned the label around. He wrote that he has had more fights than Garry in the past two years, with more finishes, and that he is less hated.

Then came the joke. Till said he does not cry at Disney films, only when Mickey dies in Rocky III, and called that what a real man does.

What Garry said on Golf Life

The comments that set it off came when Garry, the UFC welterweight, sat down with former soccer star Jimmy Bullard on the Golf Life channel. Asked about Till, Garry said they had never bumped into each other.

He claimed Till has only ever talked badly about him. He also granted that Till is game and said he has watched him fight. Still, he put Till among the Twitter and Instagram types, saying "he talks more than he fights."
